Jana's sterility assurance level (SAL) indicates the maximum probability for each sterilized medical supply or component remains sterile. SAL ranges from 10^-3 to 10^-6 depending on the application of the products.
Disinfection and Sterilization of Laboratory Supplies
Laboratories have a higher requirement standards in cleanliness. It is necessary to strictly control the number of microorganisms in this space to prevent undesired bacteria from contaminating target strains and utensils. After each and every experiment, samples are to be destroyed, disinfect the space and equipments to prevent microorganisms contaminating external environments.
